Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Accounts Administrator to support our growing business with day-to-day accounting and financial functions.
Australian work rights and Police Clearance are required for this position.
This is a hands-on position suited to a detail-oriented and proactive qualified person who enjoys working autonomously while contributing to a cooperative team environment.
This position focuses on transactional bookkeeping, while supporting multiple clinicians and site administration.
Responsibilities
* Processing accounts receivable invoices
* Verifying EAP and insurance service agreements, session approvals, and billing eligibility
* Managing debtor follow-ups and debt collection
* Daily receipting of banking across multiple sites
* Creditor, Debtor and Cash Banking reconciliations
* Maintaining accurate site bookkeeping records
* Assisting with month-end bookkeeping tasks, eg. journals, debtor analysis and reconciliations, site EFT banking reconciliations
* Contributing to process improvements and supporting ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
* Competent with a high level of accuracy for daily financial transactions
* Confident with numbers and highly detail-driven
* Sound understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel (essential)
* ERP accounting package experience required
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential
* A positive can-do attitude with a willingness to take on wide-ranging tasks
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy, deadline-driven environment
* Must have Australian work rights
