About the Role:
The role will be responsible for control of stationary engines, and/or other mechanical equipment to provide utilities for manufacturing / cold rooms and other industrial purposes. Other role requirements include:
* Record keeping and tracking of refrigeration operations;
* Record keeping and tracking of boiler operations including Water treatment
* Inspection of equipment for operating efficiency;
* Monitoring of conditions for Quality Assurance and product safety;
* Uphold and distil safety practices in the workplace.
* Undertake Preventive Maintenance duties to ensure equipment reliability
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have:
Essential Requirements:
* Qualified /Licensed Refrigeration Mechanic
* High Risk Work License (Advanced Boiler preferable)
* Excellent communications and technical skills.
* Demonstrated experience in engine room / ammonia refrigeration operations;
* Happy to work a rotating roster across day and nightshifts
Desirable Requirements:
* Ammonia Awareness training (preferred)
* Refrigeration Plant Operator training (preferred)
* Ammonia Experience
* Boiler License
* Knowledge of Air Compressors and Air dryers
* Confined Space
* CPR/LVR
