In this position you will drive the integration of industry engagement into our research and education with a focus on developing the department’s capabilities in securing Australian competitive (Category 1) grants as well as research income from industry-provided grants (Category 3). Your contributions will influence professional standards, drive impactful research, and secure funding that advances industry-informed projects. About you You are a highly accomplished marketing professional with a strong record of leadership and excellence across the full lifecycle of marketing and applied research projects — from ideation and design through implementation, evaluation, and large-scale adoption. With advanced qualifications, including a Master’s degree and senior leadership experience, you bring a well-established industry profile marked by impactful contributions in marketing. You have a proven ability to secure competitive funding and deliver impactful outcomes through case studies, white papers, or professional publications that resonate with both academic and industry audiences. Your outstanding interpersonal and communication skills enable you to build, sustain, and leverage high-value partnerships with senior leaders across business, government, and social agencies. With a proven ability to mentor and guide colleagues, you foster a collaborative environment that advances both professional and academic standards. While your primary expertise lies in industry practice, you are committed to bridging the gap between academia and the professional world by translating industry knowledge and applied research into meaningful academic collaboration.
