Award winning Thai restaurant in Springwood, Queensland is on the hunt for an experienced chef to join our amazing team. $74K+ per annum
Responsibilities
- Lead our kitchen team to provide guests with a superior dining experience with attention to detail and quality
- Advise on cooking procedures and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen to meet Health Department requirements
- Estimate food and labour costs, and order food supplies
- Discuss food preparation issues with Managers and staff
- Willing to learn and work hard to your ability
- Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude
- Must be able to work on weekends
Qualifications
- Experience in Asian cooking or understanding the basics of Asian cooking with a minimum of 1 year
- Completed Diploma in Commercial/Cookery or higher
- Efficient communication in English
- Passion for creating high quality food
- Excellent presentation and maintain personal hygiene
- Solid leadership skills
- Must have a can-do attitude
