You will help to contribute to workforce programs that enhance and strengthen capability, drive cultural transformation and support a sustainable, engaged workforce aligned with the organisation’s strategic direction.About this roleAbout the role:
The purpose of this role is to lead the e-learning function within the Workforce Strategy and Capability team for the whole of Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS). This role is the key lead for the design, development, and deployment of e-learning on the CHHHS learning management system (LMS). You will partner with a wide range of clinical and non-clinical educators and stakeholders to build, test, and maintain a quality e-learning portfolio.
The role is responsible for the LMS support and continuous improvement by partnering closely with the system vendor and providing technical support and troubleshooting to local system users.
The LMS is a key reporting tool for CHHHS, and the role is required to produce various governance reports for key stakeholders and Executive.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
Knowledge and understanding of learning management systems, content development, and publishing practices in the context of e-learning with experience developing engaging learning and support materials using Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate, or similar systems. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with content experts; advise on best practice in creating engaging content; review and evaluate content and materials for online delivery which is fit for purpose and in line with strategic and operational plans. High level attention to detail for routine maintenance and system audit to manage accuracy and functionality; identify and mitigate data integrity issues to ensure compliance. Experience in the application of project methodology at an operational level. High level communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills including consultation and negotiation with a diverse range of stakeholders. About you:

Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify learning needs and coordinate training logistics.Develop and maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting tools for training, capability programs, and workforce project support for workforce and capability initiatives, including event coordination, scheduling, stakeholder communication, and resource development.
