The Company Robert Half Executive Search has been exclusively retained to identify a high-performing, driven Enterprise Senior Sales Professional who thrives in strategic, solution sales environments, rather than transactional SaaS sales. Our client is a market leading global B2B SaaS technology business offering mission-critical technology solutions to the Financial Services and Insurance sector.
With a substantial market share globally, and on a strong growth trajectory, the firm is now looking to further expand its existing operations in Australia and New Zealand into new segments and is seeking a 'market maker' - a talented sales professional who enjoys developing brand new business opportunities.
This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and accomplished Sales Professional, skilled at positioning and converting complex deals over long sales cycles, to join an innovative company providing high-value bespoke cutting-edge software solutions.
The Role Reporting into the APAC market lead, the Senior Sales Executive will own the entire sales cycle from initial prospecting through to successful closure of core system replacement deals. They will play a crucial role within the business working closely with the firm's external partners, financial service regulators and internal support teams to increase the firm's market share in Australia and New Zealand.
The successful candidate is expected to leverage their existing network of local C-Suite contacts as well as develop strong relationships with new prospects to build and manage a healthy pipeline to drive sales.
This is a value-based complex solution sales role with long sales cycles and high ACVs spanning several years. It is essential that the successful individual has a thorough understanding of enterprise software sales cycles and a methodical approach to multi-stakeholder management, progressing opportunities through bespoke sales plans they have devised for each account.
The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for: Driving new business sales of core system replacements, predominantly targeting brand new logo accounts within Financial Services, Insurance and Government. Leveraging a consultative sales approach to map client pain points positioning the firm's technology as a 'must-have' solution. Securing and leading face-to-face meetings with business leaders and decision-makers (CTO, CIO, CFO, CEO, etc) within the firm's target marketplace. Maintaining productive relationships with senior executives and middle management in both business and technology functions. Leading strategy development and sales execution for assigned accounts, taking ownership of the sales process. Selling solutions that transform mission-critical core systems within organisations, understanding the complexities of regulated environments. Accurately managing a forecast in Salesforce. Your Profile Are you a strategic, consultative sales professional with a proven track record in complex software sales and/or large-scale transformation services sales? Do you have a 'hunter' mentality and thrive in complex sales cycles, working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to craft and project manage tailored solutions?
~5+ years' experience in enterprise grade B2B technology sales (preferably SaaS, Insurtech, or Fintech).
Proven success managing long, complex sales cycles (6-18 months) with multi-million dollar deal sizes.
Strong background in consultative/solution selling.
Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder sales (C-Suite, IT, Operations, Finance).
Confident working with system integrators and technical teams to create bespoke client solutions.
