Accounting and Bookkeeping Role
This is a part-time position based in our office for 20-24 hours per week over 4 days.
* Perform general bookkeeping across multiple businesses using accounting software XERO
* Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
* Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
* Process payroll for approximately 25 staff members
* Conduct BAS & IAS preparation
* Manage payment of Superannuation
* Assist with onboarding new staff
The role will also provide support to the event hire team in setting up quotes in rental management software and responding to client inquiries when required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of account keeping/bookkeeping for multiple businesses
* Process and manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
* Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
* Prepare and submit BAS & IAS reports
* Manage payroll for approximately 25 staff members
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in bookkeeping
* Proficiency in all aspects of account keeping/bookkeeping
* Experience using accounting software, preferably XERO
* Possession of qualifications in Bookkeeping is highly desirable
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
