Level 3 Salary: $73,347 - $79,323 (Pro-rata)*, plus superannuation

The opportunity
We are in the market for energetic and skilled Administration Assistant to support the delivery of Development and Compliance services at the City of Mandurah.
As the Administration Assistant - Development Compliance you will provide quality administrative support and secretarial assistance to the Strategy and Economic Development Directorate with a focus on supporting the Executive Manager Development and Compliance.
The candidate will need to be adaptable and like a challenge, supporting all business units in the Development and Compliance including Building and Compliance, Statutory Planning and Lands, Emergency Management, Health Services and Rangers and Parking.
To be Successful in this Role
Qualifications
Certificate III in Office Administration, Business Studies, Computer (data input and document control) Studies or similar is desirable.
Hold a current, unrestricted "C-A" (manual) or "C-B" (automatic) class national driver's licence.
Experience
Minimum of 12 months previous experience in an administrative support role.
Previous administrative experience in a local government context is desirable.
Possess an understanding of local government development and compliance processes.
Skills
Excellent general administration skills.
Interpersonal and communication skills.
Manage sensitive material/issues in a manner that is discreet and professional.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office products including Outlook, Excel and Word.
Customer service skills.
Time management and organisational skills.
Problem solving abilities.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Team Player.
Ability to work without supervision and make decisions within authorised guidelines.

*The salary for this role commences at step 1, with potential for movement within the range based on demonstrated skills and experience.
Incremental progression typically occurs at the conclusion of each 12-month period, in accordance with the Industrial Agreement.
