The Waves Club Elliott Heads is a popular destination for both locals and visitors, offering excellent food and service. Located on the beautiful coast of Bundaberg, it serves as the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing, cooking and plating a variety of delicious meals from our menu.
* Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
* Ensure adherence to compliance and safety standards
* Collaborating with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless dining experience for our customers.
* Providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
* Trade qualified background in Cookery or significant cooking experience
* Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation.
* Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
* Passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals.
* Current Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain).
* Availability to work flexible hours to suit the needs of a hospitality business including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
