Summary: As the Head Barista at our Aldersyde location, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our customers. This position is essential for maintaining high standards of quality and service, ensuring that our café remains a welcoming environment. You will lead a team of baristas, oversee daily operations, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the barista team, ensuring high levels of performance and customer service. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items to customers. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, including equipment and work areas. Train and mentor new baristas on coffee preparation techniques and customer service standards. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure a positive experience. Implement and uphold health and safety regulations within the café. Assist in developing new beverage recipes and promotional offerings. Qualifications: Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role, preferably in a leadership position. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
