We are looking for an experienced foreman to join a highly successful concrete business in the ACT. They provide specialised concreting services to residential commercial builders and industrial facilities. Works are carried out using advanced methodologies and processes making them a leader in the industry.
**About the role**
You will be responsible to supervise and coordinate the activities of all trades and subcontractors on site during the project and provide a safe working environment for the projects. Projects range from commercial to civil contracts so a positive understanding of structural and civil works is a must.
**Key Responsibilities for the role**
- Lead, mentor and support site teams to be able to deliver scope of works.
- Ensure assigned tasks and projects meet relevant codes, standards, specifications, budgets and timelines.
- Safety awareness and ability to identify risks or potential hazards and document.
**Skills & experience**
- Previous experience in supervising on commercial and civil sites. Knowledge in civil, formwork, REO and concrete desired.
- Ability to read and interpret technical plans and drawings with a good attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, customer relations and advanced time management skills with an ability to perform calmly under pressure.
- Relevant building qualifications, white card, valid driver's licence.
