As the **Supported Employee Engagement Lead **you will** **generate and foster new relationships with NDIS service providers, schools and other potential referral stake holders to enable future recruitment of supported employees. By working in partnership with the Business Enterprises businesses and Support Services team you will set, monitor and manage ongoing Supported Employee recruitment needs and targets. The ongoing development, promotion, and implementation of the internal Supported Employee referral program will also be a key focus of your role.
Your key accountabilities will be:
- Identify opportunities for genU to hire supported employees, such as through developing strong relationships with Schools (both mainstream and Special Development Schools) or partnerships with organizations that support individuals with disabilities.
- Develop strategies for hiring and retaining supported employees, including by building relationships with relevant organizations and promoting genU's commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Market Business Enterprises as an attractive employer for supported employees, including by promoting the company's culture, benefits, and opportunities for professional development.
- Network with relevant organizations and individuals to build relationships and promote Business Enterprises as an employer of choice for supported employees.
- Lead the hiring process for supported employees, including by coordinating with relevant organizations/individuals and partnering with the Support Services team to ensure a smooth onboarding, employment trial and training experience.
- Track progress and outcomes related to hiring and retaining supported employees and use this information to continuously improve and refine strategies on behalf of the Business Enterprises businesses.

- Experience developing marketing ideas and implementation
- Understanding of the NDIS Funding for supports in employment
- Knowledge of employment services within the NDIS
- Effective communication and influencing skills
- Ability to work to KPI's and exceed targets
- Ability to work autonomously, manage time and workloads effectively to business priorities
