Job Description
About the role:
* Full Time, Part Time OR Casual role available
* You will be supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen through food preparation and dishwashing
* Be responsible for providing the highest level of attention to all aspects of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the Kitchen, including but not limited to cutlery, crockery and commercial equipment
* Recycling and removal of rubbish
* Assisting Chefs with basic food preparation as required (eg peeling, chopping, portioning)
* Unpack, store and organise food deliveries
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and food storage areas
* Adhere to all sanitation and chemical use guidelines.
* Follow and adhere to all HACCAP hygiene, Food Safety and WHS requirements.
Qualifications

Role
You may have previous experience in a similar fast paced environment. This is a very busy role. Regardless of your level of experience, there are a few things that would make you shine in this role, which include:
* Great energy and a "Find the YES" positive attitude.
* Good time management skills and a willingness to learn.
* Ability to multi task will be essential to this role
* Professional, well-groomed appearance, demonstrating pride in presentation.
* Flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends and Public Holidays
* Experience in a similar role is ideal
* You might be a Commerical Cookery Student, looking to gain some practical experience
* You hold valid working rights for Australia
The Must-Haves
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need
* A strong work ethic and dependability.
* Punctuality; being on time is very important.
* Good attention to cleanliness.
* Ability to follow safety rules.
* Willingness to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
* Previous experience in a similar job is preferred but not required.
* Training will be provided for the right candidates.
