Senior Creative Industry Programs Lead EOI Expressions of Interest to join Create NSW, a division within the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Clerk Grade 9/10 with a salary range of $129,464-$142,665 Temporary 12-month role based in Sydney NSW About the role Create NSW supports the people, places, communities, and creative work that shape the cultural life of NSW. Through investment, programs and partnerships, we help make creativity visible, valued and part of everyday life. Our work is guided by the NSW Government’s Creative Communities policy and a commitment to a vibrant, inclusive and future-focused sector. Develop, manage, and deliver contemporary, inclusive, and impactful programs and initiatives that enhance equitable engagement with priority areas of the arts, cultural, and creative industries, supporting their growth, vibrancy, and alignment with government priorities across NSW. Some of the key accountabilities of the role include: Plan, develop and deliver contemporary, inclusive, and impactful programs and initiatives, aligned with government priorities for the arts, culture and creative industries in NSW and the key principles and objectives of the Creative Communities policy. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships within targeted creative communities or industries in NSW, fostering partnerships and providing advice to support growth and improved outcomes. Manage the development, implementation, and review of policies and practices to support improved outcomes for targeted creative communities or industries across NSW. Apply funding policies and procedures to support equitable access and strengthen program capability, while coordinating the delivery of launch, assessment, and funding allocation phases, including joint funding opportunities with Commonwealth and local government, and engagement with third-party assessors through transparent, probity-compliant processes and information sessions. Identify and leverage opportunities to showcase activities within targeted creative communities or industries across NSW, promoting and advocating their contribution to the State’s economic and social vibrancy. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience. Experience in the development and delivery of programs across one or more of the following contexts: regional communities, arts and cultural organisations, the creative industries, or Western Sydney or other focus areas highlighted through Create NSW’s published sector strategies. Expertise in stakeholder management, with a proven ability to build, maintain, and influence relationships across diverse sectors to support strategic outcomes. How to Apply!
