Senior Nursing/Midwifery Executive Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse or midwife to lead our team as Assistant Director Of Nursing/Midwifery. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their policy development, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement skills while making a meaningful impact on the Nursing and Midwifery Office.
This is an ideal opportunity for motivated nurses or midwives who can lead and coordinate projects and activities that drive the advancement of nursing and midwifery practice and influence clinical policy development.
About the Role:
* Provide expert advice and support to the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer in a government setting
* Develop and implement policies and procedures related to nursing and midwifery
* Collaborate with stakeholders to advance the interests of nurses and midwives
* Mentor and support junior staff members
Key Requirements:
* Registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse or Midwife
* Postgraduate tertiary qualifications in nursing or midwifery
* Demonstrated senior nursing and/or midwifery leadership experience
