To support our growth, we are seeking an
**HSE Coordinator **to join the Ausdrill exploration drilling team working in the Bowen Basin area.
Reporting to the HSE Superintendent, the purpose of this role is to provide support and guidance to the Ausdrill Qld exploration drilling team in relation to safety and training management, ensuring the team maintains high standards across all locations.
**What the role entails**:
- Conducting field leadership** **activities in alignment with Ausdrill and client requirements.
- Liaison with client representatives on safety and training related matters.
- Assisting the site leadership team with incident investigations, action development and close out in a timely manner.
- Coach/support the teams with hazard identification and risk assessments.
- Champion the Critical Risk Management program
- Delivering effective training and VOC assessments in the field
- Assist with Fitness for Work testing (BAC, Drug and Hydration Testing)
- Maintenance of data and records across various internal and client management systems.
- Develop, review and update site specific HSE manuals, policies, procedures, and management plans
**What you need**:
- Strong organisational and presentational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated and proven commitment to safety and driving positive safety culture
- Knowledge of the QLD Coal Mining Legislation
- Good computer literacy and the ability to use Microsoft office proficiently
**Key Requirements**:
- Relevant WHS qualification - minimum Cert IV WHS Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
- Standard 11 induction
- Operate and maintain a four-wheel drive vehicle (RIIVEH305)
- 3 + years working experience in a similar role within the mining industry
- A current First Aid Certificate
- A current HR drivers' licence
- A current National Police Clearance (valid within 6 months)
- Able to pass a QLD coal board medical
