Sports Tots is seeking a talented Dance and Drama Teacher to join our fun and dynamic Company.
We are currently seeking a talented energetic Dance and Drama Teacher who is passionate about encouraging a love of dance and drama in children in their early years, primarily between the ages of 2-6 years old.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in developing and implementing a successful dance program within the early childhood education sector. We appreciate how beneficial it can be for the growth and development of children that begin learning how to learn through music, imagination and expression in their early years.
Role
You will be responsible for delivering the dance curriculum at our Sports Tots partnered centres on a weekly basis. Our Sports Tots program coordinator will work with you in aligning the program curriculum to the Early Year Learning Framework. The position can also evolve to a Dance Coordinator and recruitment officer to support the growth of Sports Tots.
**Requirements**:
- Relevant qualifications in Music/Dance/Drama teaching
- Experience with implementing a music program for children
- Your own car and valid Victorian Drivers License
- Victorian Working with Children Check
Key Responsibilities
- Strong communication skills with children, families, and staff
- Engage the children in fun activities that promote learning through music
- Basic technology skills for use of online curriculum planning
- Develop, plan, and implementation of the music education curriculum
- Comply with Sports Tots Policies and Procedures
- Educate children through age-appropriate learning approaches
