ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and passionate National Sales Manager to lead and drive sales performance across our retail network. In this exciting new role, you will develop and implement sales strategies, analyse sales data, and develop a high-performing team to achieve outstanding sales results and customer service. You will play a key role in maximising revenue, optimising store performance, and fostering a customer-centric culture.
This is a hands-on role that requires an equal time spent in-store where you'll support and develop our retail teams, as well as head office collaborating with key stakeholders.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will –
* Develop and execute a national sales strategy to achieve revenue targets across all retail stores, in conjunction with the COO and Retail Operations & Projects Manager.
* Lead sales forecasting and budgeting, setting sales targets per store as well as other key KPI's (conversion, ATV, UPT etc.)
* Analyse sales data to identify trends & opportunities, proactively implementing changes to leverage sales opportunities within the business.
* Develop and implement clientelling and VIP growth strategies in partnership with the Retail Operations & Projects Manager
* Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Area Managers and the broader retail sales team to deliver best in class customer service and retail management practices.
* Ensure alignment of sales activities with key business priorities, including product launches and seasonal campaigns.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Operations, Finance) to optimise sales performance and customer experience.
* Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activity, and best practices.
* Regularly travel interstate to support sales performance and ensure alignment with strategies.
Desired Skills and Experience
YOU WILL BRING:
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in a national retail management or operations role in the fashion or related industry.
* Extensive experience leading a large retail team nationally.
* Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to analyse and report on retail store budgets, revenue, wages, and sales analytics.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in using key retail and sales systems (e.g., AP21) and data analysis tools such as Excel.
* Ability to regularly travel to our Victoria and interstate stores.
* Bachelor's Degree in Fashion, Commerce, Business, Marketing, or a similar field is highly regarded.
