Hello, my name is Amelia and all my little friends and team at FiRST call me Milly.
I have been working as an Educator for many years and my love for the industry is so obvious when I walk into my classroom and see all my beautiful Children.
It's so important to be present, in the moment and always ready for a busy and fun day with our little learners, as they are our future and deserve to learn in a calm and safe environment.
One of my little learners approached me the other day and told me that I was the best teacher she had ever had, this made me feel so special and it got me thinking about what our Children need to help them during their learning journey.
We are currently inviting an Assistant Manager to join our team in Hastings. We are a close team and love our children and families
We were all asked what traits, we as Educators would like to see in our future Assistant Centre Manager, and we came up with the following:
Traits we would like to see in our future Assistant Centre Manager:
* We want someone caring, supportive and willing to jump in and get involved with the children and educators on floor when needed.
* We would love to see open communication; someone we can openly talk to and is approachable.
* A Centre manager who offers equal opportunities, someone who displays professionalism.
* We would love an assistant manager who is fun, organised, and who is proactive and kind.
* An assistant centre manager who has plenty of experience in leading a team to success and shows empathy.
If this sounds like you and you would like to support a magical team, you will need the following:
Requirements:
* Supervisory or management experience.
* At least 2+ years working in the industry.
* Leadership and management skills.
* Child protection training.
* First aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis updated certificates.
* Strong passion for Children's learning and well-being.
* Maintaining quality standards.
* Empathy, patience and professionalism.
* Confidence and clear communication with families, staff and regulators.
* A big love for our beautiful, little learners.
