**Job Description**:
**THE ROLE**
We are currently recruiting an E-Commerce Manager to be based in Melbourne for General Mills. This role is responsible for delivering the eCommerce strategy & business goals and for building category plans with the on-line grocery retailers (WooliesX and Coles Online). This role will be fundamental in continuing to drive online sales growth and driving premium shares for our core brands. This is a very entrepreneurial role which will require channel expertise, leadership, entrepreneurship, and strong agility alongside daily collaborative interaction with other functions within the business.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Partner with Accounts managers and Category managers to set-up dedicated online joint business plans with the grocery retailers
- Ensure that sales fundamentals in place (Assortment, Content & Search)
- Introduce online category management to lock captaincy on the top brands and drive premium market shares.
- Design and execute online Trade events/promotions planning with NAM and Shopper marketing support
- Amplify NPD launch on retailers platform
- Train & Empower the internal organization through strong eCommerce expertise
**YOU WILL HAVE**
- Degree Qualified
- Proven successful experience at developing online sales within the FMCG industry (either on the retail or brand manufacturer side).
- Strong knowledge of online retailing
- Strong skills in category management process and awareness of how to use process to generate wins
- Confidence and ability to develop and present compelling sales presentations.
- Experience in Data / Analytics handling
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Experience of delivering results through working in cross-functional teams.
- Exposure or understanding of consumer and Shopper marketing
- In touch with Digital developments and m-commerce
