About Our Client
Our client is a leading Australian Mining and Resource client with operation's and exploration projects across the Bowen and Surat basins, with four major coal-producing assets supplying metallurgical coal to a global market. They hold strong track record of performance in developing, operating and rehabilitating coal resources to produce export metallurgical coal for steel making.
What you will be Doing
- Administration assistance to the Superintendent HSEC, whilst also providing administrative support in both training and risk/compliance functions of the HSEC teams.
- Run weekly/monthly reports to support safety and training compliance.
- Data entry of safety statistics.
- Provide support with investigations, risk assessments and document control processes.
- Provide support in the use of safety and training hardware and software systems.
- Build relationships with a range of key stakeholders.
- Be a proactive team member and show initiative in all areas of your work.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe work environment
What you will need
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (desirable)
- Experience in Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
- Some knowledge and experience with QLD coal mining legislation.
