We provide a wide range of aged care services and programs to support elders and their families.About The OpportunityWe are seeking Cook's to join our Newcastle Aged Care facility to support the kitchen, help prepare nutritious meals and keep things running smoothly.The Day-to-day ResponsibilitiesAssist in preparing, storing, and serving meals according to residents' dietary needs and the food safety plan.Ensure meals meet nutritional and cultural preferences of residents.Maintain high standards of hygiene and comply with food safety regulations.Report any faulty kitchen equipment and maintain compliance with safety standards.Oversee documentation related to food safety, meals records and stock levels.Participate in Fronditha Care's continuous improvement processes to enhance service quality.What Success Looks Like For This RoleFood handling certificate is essential but not limited to.Minimum 1 year experience in the Aged Care Sector, preferably in the kitchen and food handling.Proven skills around infection control and safe food handling.Proficiency in communication and teamwork.NSW Food Safety Supervisor.CERT III in Commercial Cookery but not limited to.Need to be flexible with availability, and work on weekdays and weekends.Why choose Fronditha Care?Fronditha Care is driven by our ethos of providing a Bounty of Care that extends to our clients and employees.
