Our client is a service-oriented organisation ensuring in-home care to the aged and the disabled, now seeking an experienced Quality and Compliance Coordiantor.
The Quality and Compliance Coordinator will monitor, review and manage compliance systems to ensure staff are delivering exceptional care in line with company Policies and Procedures. This role is responsible for coordinating processes to ensure that company achieves and maintains accreditation along with other standards relevant to support high quality, safe and effective service delivery. The Quality and Compliance Coordinator also contributes towards the development and implementation of Training framework.
**Responsibilities**:
- QMS or relevant system is maintained, developed and improved to meet the needs of the company;
- Maintain accreditation and compliance to: ACIS:2018 and ISO9001:2015 and NDIS standards;
- Audit of the QMS conducted as per audit schedule in current system, including internal audits;
- Staff are competently trained in company core training modules;
- Staff are competently trained in the use of systems as they relate to compliance i.e. accident injury reports / improvements / document management / essential qualifications;
- Ensuring work tasks within QMS are actioned and finalised;
- Staff training records are current;
- Provide reports summarising key issues, concerns and successes - monthly;
- A person-centred care approach is developed and refined and is promoted within staff training.
**Desirable Criteria**
- Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge of the community services, disability and home care industry;
- Empathetic listening skills and capacity to identify issues and provide advice and guidance;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare reports, policies and procedures and communicate and subsequently enforce these to all staff;
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills and attention to detail;
- An understanding of confidentiality and privacy obligations;
- Demonstrated ability to work closely and communicate effectively with staff and external networks effectively;
- Demonstrated personal initiative and commitment to the achievement of agreed goals;
- Understanding of and commitment to EEO, WHandS and cultural diversity policies;
- Ability to unpack and implement the ACIS 4.0 Standards and Guidelines.
