About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator (Cloud) to join our Adelaide team. You will play a key role in delivering reliable, secure, and high‐performing IT environments, combining hands‐on technical expertise with operational ownership and continuous improvement. You'll be responsible for supporting and evolving cloud and on‐premise systems that underpin the company's products and services. Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain IT systems across cloud and on‐premise environments, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
* Manage and optimise Azure environments, including access control (RBAC), Entra ID, app registrations, and storage solutions.
* Monitor system performance, availability, and health, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maximise uptime.
* Manage backups, replication, and disaster recovery processes, ensuring timely restoration of services when required.
* Provide technical support to internal teams and customers, ensuring service requests are resolved within agreed SLAs.
* Develop and maintain documentation to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
* Identify opportunities to enhance system performance, scalability, and resilience.
* Participate in Agile practices, team collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related discipline (desirable), or equivalent practical experience.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
* Strong expertise in cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) and Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, VMware, IIS, and SQL Server.
* Experience managing identity and access solutions such as Entra ID and Azure AD.
* Exposure to Infrastructure‐as‐Code (IaC) and DevOps practices (desirable).
* Proficiency in scripting and automation.
* Strong customer service mindset with a commitment to delivering high‐quality support.
* Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
* High‐level communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A proactive approach to improving systems, processes, and operational efficiency.
