This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Regional Service Team as a Site Operations Manager!
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage our Curragh Mammoth Mine site-based service team. This pivotal role involves managing daily site and business operations, ensuring site safety, maintaining equipment, responding to breakdowns, staff scheduling, customer interaction, and reporting as per contractual obligations.
You will be a key part of the site management team, fostering strong customer relationships within the organization and with external clients. Your success in this role will depend on your ability to build and foster genuine relationships, mentor, support, and coordinate a team of service personnel, monitor and report on product performance, and lead and drive continuous improvement processes.
Requirements
* Mechanical/Electrical trade and/or engineering qualifications
* Underground coal mining experience on continuous miners, shuttle cars, and related equipment
* Ability to build and foster genuine relationships
* Mentor, support, and coordinate a team of service personnel
* Monitor and report on product performance
* Lead and drive continuous improvement processes
