Position Title:
Network Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

Perth, Western Australia (with limited site travel)

Role Overview:
Join a dynamic infrastructure team delivering network solutions across corporate, production, and process control environments. This role offers full life cycle ownership from design through to commissioning and support transition.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Design, implement, and commission network infrastructure across multiple domains.
Develop detailed technical scope documentation and low-level designs.
Produce and execute change management plans including implementation, testing, and rollback.
Maintain and update technical documentation including IPAM, CMDB, and network monitoring systems.
Participate in asset and solution transition to support teams.
Manage multiple work packages concurrently, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Required Skills & Experience:
Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent experience in IP network and security design.
Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols (REP, STP, OSPF, BGP).
Experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, Access Points, and Firewalls (FMC/FTD).
Ability to troubleshoot access issues and implement new firewall policies.
Proven experience in developing technical documentation including design, implementation, test, and back-out plans.
Familiarity with fibre optics and ability to interpret fibre diagrams.
Experience with change management processes.
Exposure to mining or industrial environments is highly desirable.
