As a Community Nursing Support Worker, you will provide support to our clients with a range of daily tasks as prescribed in the client's management care plan. This includes assisting with personal care needs such as showering, dressing and eating, providing individually tailored support to maximise dignity, personal growth and independence, observing and reporting changes in clients' condition, and completing and updating participants/client's documentation and care plans.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting clients with their mobility and communication needs
* Providing support to participant/Client in their social and recreational life as a member of the community
Essential requirements include:
* 100 Point Identification
* Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
* Manual Handling completion or willingness to do so
* Current Police check within the last 12 months or willingness to obtain one prior to employment
* Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration
* Current driver's license with access to a road worthy and comprehensively insured vehicle
* Appropriate visa to work in Australia
* Mobile Phone
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings/nights and weekends
