Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major outage works in the power generation sector, with a strong focus on Generator and Turbine Maintenance.
This role offers a unique opportunity to manage complex, high-value projects critical to energy reliability.This position will see you working Monday to Friday during pre and post outage, and on a continuous roster arrangement during the outages, based in Regional QLD.Working with Monadelphous offers many benefits, some of which include:Competitive remuneration packageTool of Trade vehicle includedAccess to professional membershipsHealth and wellbeing initiativesKey Responsibilities of the role include but not be limited to:Lead outage planning and execution for turbine and generator maintenance, upgrades, and associated works.Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.Manage risk, change control, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.Provide leadership and guidance to site teams during high-pressure outage periods.What you will bring:Proven experience as a Project Manager or Site Manager in power generation outages, particularly turbine and generator maintenance.Strong commercial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and contract administration.Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and foster collaboration.Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate others.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and quality.Australian recognized tertiary or trade qualification in a relevant discipline (highly regarded).
