Supervise staff to ensure the safe and correct completion of warehouse processes Resource planning and rostering to meet quality and cost targets Prepare reporting on inventory and supplies levels of stock and create orders according to demand requirements Deliver training to staff, or supervision of training delivered by direct reports to staff, and ensure all training is documented according to business standards Manage performance of staff and develop performance improvement plans for staff, along with development plans for staff Manage the performance of suppliers for terminal handling associated processes Manage compliance to procedures and company, safety, security and regulatory requirements Key Responsibilities: Warehouse process quality, system accuracy and customer response Warehouse staff management and development Inventory management, stock control Cost management, forecasting and budgeting Safety, security and regulatory compliance Equipment maintenance Supplier service performance supervision (identifying and reacting to day to day service performance issues) Requirements: 3 years' of warehouse management experience, preferably within airline, transportation or logistics industry. Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written Strong leader with focus on developing others Builds and maintains strong professional relationships Pronounced ability to use own initiative and high level of motivation Quick comprehension and analytical approach Very good communication skills and strong social competence combined with a "can do" approach High level of independence and ability to set priorities Certificate level in process management, health and safety or supply chain management preferred
