Competitive hourly rate negotiable with experienceAbout the roleOur Commonwealth Government client is seeking to engage a Business Analyst at the APS6 level to support the delivery of an important project. The successful candidate will help develop a framework that supports the exchange of information between subject matter experts and stakeholders, thereby enhancing interoperability in Australian digital health systems.An initial 3-month labour hire contract is available, with a possible 6-month extension.These roles are based in Canberra, Sydney, and Brisbane on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week), with remote working arrangements considered.Note: Only Australian citizens with the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance can be considered for this role.Duties:Analyse and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.Gather requirements using methods such as document analysis, workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, business analysis, tasks, workflows, and user journeys.Make decisions based on professional judgment, evaluating risks within a complex and evolving environment.Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and adjust as necessary.Work independently with limited direction, following established priorities, practices, and methodologies to deliver quality outcomes.Perform research and analysis to address complex or escalated issues and support long-term planning.Collaborate closely with stakeholders to elicit, interpret, and document business requirements, ensuring shared understanding.Requisite skills/experience:Demonstrated experience in business analysis, including creating project artefacts and monitoring requirements through the project lifecycle.Ability to investigate, engage effectively with stakeholders, understand requirements, and report progress.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Culture and benefitsPeople enjoy contracting with Relatbl because our business is owned and managed by individuals with firsthand contracting experience.
