**What is your new role about?** 
We are searching for an eager Inspectorate Compliance Officer to assist the Inspectorate Manager in delivering compliance on all aspects of Horizon Power's Inspection System Plan (ISP). Manage complex electrical inspections, audits, and regulatory compliance investigations in accordance with Horizon Power's endorsed Inspection System Plan, statutory obligations and Service Level Agreements.
This role requires occasional travel to regional WA to support the Inspection System Plan and compliance.
Your current role will include:
- Coordinate and deliver internal and external reporting requirements in line with the endorsed Inspection System Plan. 
- Complete and manage Inspectorate Level 2 investigations for non-compliance of Regulation 242 of Electricity Regulations 1947. 
- Assist in compiling and reviewing Level 1 Breach Investigations, electric shock, and fire investigations. 
- Provide advice to Electrical Inspectors regarding the execution of the endorsed Inspection System Plan. 
- Carry out Audits of knowledge and practical skills assessments of electrical inspectors as required by the Inspection System Plan. 
- Maintain relationship with Building and Energy to obtain interpretation of Regulations, Clauses and Rulings associated with requests and advice. 
- The management and delivery of ISP activities including:
- Validation management for inspectorate E Notice interface to confirm compliance prior to processing. 
- Managing inspector's orders and electrical safety certificates for reenergisation and updating these orders and electrical safety certificates into MData21. 
- Manage and issue overdue letters for overdue inspectors orders. 
- Manage returned inspector's orders for compliance and update mData21. 
- Manage the issuing of reinspection fee invoices. 
- Manage and provide guidance to electrical contractor and customer queries regarding electrical notices, new connections, inspectors' orders, and service orders.
**Our new Inspectorate Compliance Officer will have**:
- Electricians license and significant industry experience (minimum 10 years). 
- Certificate IV of Government Investigations is desirable. 
- Strong understanding of Electrical inspection practices associated Regulations and procedures. 
- Strong understanding of audit and assurance methods and approaches. 
- Understanding of electricity networks, metering arrangements and customer installations. 
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of Australian Standards, Regulations and Acts. 
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills. 
- Sound investigation and report writing skills.
