About the Role
Are you an enthusiastic, people-focused leader with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? We're seeking a Retail Manager to join our busy community pharmacy and help drive smooth, efficient day-to-day operations.
Reporting directly to the Pharmacist in Charge, you will play a key role in managing the retail floor and supporting our Pharmacy Assistants. This hands-on leadership role involves overseeing staff performance, coordinating rosters, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, support, and mentor Pharmacy Assistants
* Manage daily retail operations and workflow
* Coordinate and maintain staff rosters
* Oversee stock control, stocktakes, ordering, and invoicing
* Assist with retail merchandising and promotional displays
* Maintain accurate records and ensure store compliance
* Support the Pharmacist in Charge with operational tasks as required
About You
* Computer literate with experience using retail systems
* Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated people-management or team-leadership experience
* Organised, proactive, and capable in a fast-paced environment
* Committed to ongoing learning and professional growth
* Customer-service focused with a positive, can-do attitude
* S2/S3 qualifications required or willingness to obtain
* Cert III in Community Pharmacy (or competencies) preferred
