Physiotherapist, Neurodevelopmental/Neonatal - AHP2Physiotherapist, Neurodevelopmental/Neonatal - AHP22 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Women's and Children's Health Network, Allied Health Division, North Adelaide 5006Salary - Classification – AHP2 – Allied Health Professional L2 - $88,255.00 to $102,240.00 + Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice BenefitsFull time and part time - Ongoing PermanentWomen's and Children's Health Network, Allied Health Division, North Adelaide 5006Salary - Classification – AHP2 – Allied Health Professional L2 - $88,255.00 to $102,240.00 + Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice BenefitsFull time and part time - Ongoing PermanentAbout The OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Physiotherapy Department as a Neurodevelopmental/Neonatal Physiotherapist, where you will be responsible for:Development, co-ordination and implementation of high-quality physiotherapy services to children with neurological, neurosurgical, and neurodevelopmental needs and their families.Provision of a comprehensive physiotherapy service which results in safe, efficient and evidence-based care of these patients.Management of caseloads of complex neonatal and paediatric inpatients and outpatients.Contributing to staff orientation, teaching, support, and supervision, and providing support to the Head of Unit, Neurodevelopmental Physiotherapy.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.Completed (or intend to complete) Basic Prechtl’s Method of General Movements training.Ability to ensure the provision and promotion of high quality, efficient and effective neuro-developmental Physiotherapy services across the 0-18 year age group.Ability to appropriately position and handle babies to promote optimal neuro-developmental outcomes.Sensitivity in dealing with families coping with unexpected and adverse outcomes.Experience in paediatric physiotherapy (particularly in neurological/neurosurgical and neuro-developmental physiotherapy), including acute care assessment and ongoing outpatient management of neonates, infants, and preschool aged children.Experience in the early detection of neurological and developmental issues and the facilitation of appropriate early intervention.What WCHN Can Offer YouRelocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.
