Key Responsibilities
* Plan, organise, and oversee end‑to‑end supply and distribution operations for halal meat, fish, and grocery items
* Manage procurement activities, including sourcing products from multiple vendors, warehouses, and wholesalers while ensuring halal compliance
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, including contract management, pricing discussions, and negotiation of supply terms
* Coordinate product receiving, storage, stock rotation, and in‑store logistics to ensure freshness, quality, and proper handling
* Monitor distribution processes and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and control costs
* Ensure full compliance with workplace health and safety standards, food‑handling regulations, and halal certification requirements
* Lead, supervise, and train store and operational staff to maintain high performance and service standards
* Prepare accurate and timely reports on stock levels, supplier performance, logistics efficiency, and operational expenditure
* Design and maintain the website to cater for online orders
Skills and Experience Required
* Previous experience in retail operations, supply chain management, or a similar role (experience in food or halal retail is an advantage)
* Strong understanding of procurement, inventory control, and vendor management
* Knowledge of halal compliance requirements and food‑handling standards
* Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities
* Proficiency in basic reporting and stock management systems
* Experience in digital marketing, website maintenance is essential to help the business
