All you have to do is get on board.We are hiring for a Stores Person on a 12-month fixed-term, full-time basis based in Bassendean, Western Australia.
The Stores Person reports to the Stores and Inventory Supervisor and will accurately account for all movements of supplies at the warehouse.
The right applicant will be willing to undertake domestic travel to other locations in Australia, when required.Role location: Bassendean, Western Australia.
This is a fixed-base position.Key ResponsibilitiesCatalogue and label storage details on items, ensuring all goods received conform with regulatory and company policies.Process and complete orders, including selection and issue of parts.Process the return of goods back to stock.Binning and replenishing stock.Assist with stock takes.Update AMOS system as required.Maintain housekeeping, cleanliness and safety standards in the store area.Contribute to CHC's safety standards and maintain leadership in safety performance.Be part of a 24/7 on-call roster for AOG (Aircraft on Ground) requirements.Assist at other locations with Stores and Inventory when required.Qualifications, Skills & AttributesOrganised and detail-oriented.Ability to multitask in a busy environment.Strong customer service skills.1-2 years of previous warehousing experience.Computer literacy; AMOS experience desirable.Forklift license preferred.Dangerous goods and WHMIS training an advantage.EligibilityApplicants must have the legal right to work in Australia and meet any clearance requirements relevant to the role.Diversity & InclusionAt CHC, we celebrate diversity and welcome applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people of all genders, the LGBTI+ community, mature-aged workers, people with disability, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.Recruitment ProcessWe may commence interviews or close applications prior to the advertised closing date if suitable candidates are identified.
