Stage 4 – 6 Technology / Design and Technology Teacher
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Stage 4 – 6 Technology / Design and Technology Teacher to be an active member of our Secondary Teaching Staff.
The school
Casino Christian School (CCS) is an exciting, growing K-12 school of 360+ students. Located in the peaceful, semi‐rural setting of North Casino we provide families from Casino, the regional centre, Lismore, and the town of Kyogle, with an opportunity for high quality, Christian education. The school is governed by the Presbyterian Church of NSW and affiliated with both Christian Schools Australia and the Association of Independent Schools NSW.
About the role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled teacher with strong practical knowledge, who can deliver engaging and hands‐on learning experiences. The ability to manage a teaching load, support student learning, and work collaboratively within a team is essential. Staff of the school must be efficient, God honouring and consistent with the school's vision to provide Christ centric education in a learning community that seeks to honour Christ in all aspects of operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and structured lessons across Years 7–12
* Maintain a safe and productive workshop environment
* Support student development through practical, project‐based learning
* Work collaboratively with staff to support curriculum delivery
Essential Criteria
* Be a committed Christian and an active member of a protestant church.
* Have a sound understanding of the authentic integration of a Christian worldview in all KLA's.
* Have well‐developed organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Have teaching qualifications from a higher education institution within Australia or as recognised within the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition guidelines.
* Be appropriately registered with NESA.
* Have a current Working with Children Check.
