About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Component Workshop Technician to join our engineering team. This role will focus on the inspection, maintenance, overhaul, and repair of helicopter components, primarily supporting Bell 47, Bell 206, and Airbus AS355 / AS365 platforms.
You will work within our component workshop to ensure all components meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards while supporting aircraft availability and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of helicopter components in accordance with approved data, manuals, and regulatory requirements Specialise in components related to Bell 47, Bell 206, AS355, and AS365 aircraft Complete accurate technical documentation, including work orders, component histories, and release to service paperwork Ensure compliance with CASA/FAA and company quality systems (as applicable) Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment Liaise with engineers, planners, and supply chain teams regarding component status and rectification requirements Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop
About You
Trade-qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Component Technician, or equivalent experience Demonstrated experience working on helicopter components, ideally across Bell and Airbus platforms Strong understanding of component overhaul, inspection techniques, and technical documentation High attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable
Type experience on B47, B206, AS355, and/or AS365 components Previous experience working in an approved component workshop environment Familiarity with aviation regulatory frameworks and quality systems
