About the Role
In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centered support to clients with complex care, complex behaviors, Autism, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), mental health conditions to name few. You'll work closely with individuals in their own homes to enhance their independence, quality of life, and community participation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting with daily living tasks, personal care, and medication support
Assisting with bowel care, stoma care, PEG feeding & urinary catheter support
Providing transportation for appointments, shopping, and social activities
Implementing positive behavior support strategies to manage complex behaviors
Supporting clients in achieving their NDIS goals, promoting inclusion and empowerment
We are seeking experienced professionals who:
Have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in disability support, specifically working with Complex Care and challenging behaviors
Hold a Certificate IV in Disability Support, Aged Care, or Community Services (preferred)
Have a background in mental health, intellectual disabilities, and high-support needs
Are trained in restrictive practices, positive behavior support (PBS), and trauma-informed care
Possess excellent communication and de-escalation skills
Hold a current Australian driver's license and have access to your own reliable vehicle
