Hume / Neo4j Training & Development Specialist (NV1 Required)
Location: Any major capital city in Australia
Rate: $100–$120/hr inc. Super
Start Date: TBD, likely an October start
Contract length: Until 30 June 2026 + x2 12-month extension options
About the Role
Our federal government client is seeking an experienced specialist to deliver training, development, and advisory support in the use of Hume (a Neo4j-based visualisation platform). This role will help build self-service graph analytics capability, support delivery of defined use cases, and provide expert advice to project teams and senior stakeholders.
Security Requirements
You must hold and maintain a current NV1 security clearance to be eligible for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training and development (face-to-face and virtual) to individuals, groups, and a Community of Practice.
- Develop and deliver graph analytics use cases using Hume/Neo4j.
- Provide advisory support on applying graph technologies to business problems.
- Advise senior stakeholders on ongoing use and optimisation of the platform.
Key Skills
- Proven expertise with graph databases, specifically Neo4j (Hume experience highly regarded).
- Strong background in training, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement.
- Hands-on experience in graph analytics development and delivery.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomes.
