Complete Home is a female-led, design-driven studio based in Drummoyne, specialising in bespoke residential interiors and building design for, alterations/additions, high-end new builds and dual occupancy developments. Our portfolio spans Sydney, interstate and select international projects.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Building Designer or Architect with a minimum of five years' local experience to contribute to the creative and technical delivery of our unique projects. This role requires strong creative ability, precision in documentation, and a deep understanding of design composition, spatial planning and CDC/DA submission standards.
IMMEDIATE START
What you'll do
* Develop and refine design concepts, floor plans and façades in alignment with project briefs and client objectives.
* Prepare comprehensive CDC, DA and CC documentation with precision and consistency in Revit (only).
* Competency and experience with understanding DCP and SEPP compliance.
* Collaborate with the design team, consultants, and councils to ensure design intent and compliance are upheld.
* Provide considered technical solutions to resolve design and construction challenges.
* Maintain organised and accurate project documentation across all stages of design and the timeline delivery.
* Uphold quality control standards across all drawing outputs and deliverables.
What you'll bring
* Minimum 5 years' local experience in architectural drafting or building design.
* Demonstrated creative skill in spatial planning and façade composition.
* Proficiency in Revit (exclusive platform).
* Strong understanding of NCC, BCA, and construction methodologies.
* Competency and experience with understanding DCP and SEPP compliance.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality design documentation.
* Clear, professional communication and collaborative mindset.
* Ability to work independently and manage concurrent projects.
* Current driver's licence and vehicle.
* Unrestricted Australian work rights.
