About the Role
You’ll be at the helm of a busy, creative bistro kitchen with the freedom to craft, develop, and innovate the menu. You’ll lead a passionate team, maintain the highest standards, and ensure every dish leaving the kitchen is unforgettable. With a 5-day operation, this role is perfect for a leader who wants impact without the burnout.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or senior kitchen leader in a bistro or similar high-volume kitchen
- A creative visionary with a love for menu development, plating, and flavour experimentation
- Strong leadership skills – someone who inspires, motivates, and develops their team
- Ability to maintain high standards in a quick-paced, energetic environment
- A genuine passion for food, people, and hospitality
What You’ll Do
- Take full ownership of the menu – develop, tweak, and innovate dishes
- Lead, manage, and mentor your kitchen team
- Maintain the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently and ensure smooth service every day
- Work closely with management to meet KPIs, budget targets, and operational goals
