You'll be joining a well‑established Australian manufacturing business based in West Adelaide.
This role has a clear focus on improving cost efficiency, driving process improvements, and supporting operational decision‑making.
Paying up to 130k + Super, this is a 6‑month fixed‑term contract role, with the possibility of going permanent for the right person.

You will get:
* Salary up to $130k + Super
* Hybrid working (3 office, 2 home), with on‑site parking available
* Super commercial responsibilities and exposure to business partnering and production drivers
* Chance to extend or transition to permanent, depending on business needs at the end of the contract
What you'll be doing:
* Managing and updating product costings, BOMs, and standard costs
* Monitoring and reporting on production variances (yield, wastage, efficiency)
* Preparing monthly management accounts and dashboards
* Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles with accurate cost assumptions
* Partnering with operational managers to provide insights into performance and cost‑saving initiatives
* Analysing inventory movements and valuations
* Assisting with ad‑hoc projects linked to process improvement and cost optimisation
What you'll bring:
* Proven experience in management accounting within a manufacturing, FMCG, or production setting
* Strong knowledge of cost accounting, variances, and standard costing
* Experience with ERP systems (JDE desirable, but not essential)
* Ability to work independently, hit the ground running, and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment
* CA/CPA qualification (or studying towards) preferred, but not essential
