Account Manager – Adelaide
We are seeking an experienced, hands‐on Account Manager to join our Sales team in our Kent Town Showroom. The role is the first point of contact for many design clients (both specifiers such as Architects, Designers, Installers, and retail end clients) within the showroom environment. The incumbent will work closely with key Architectural and Design clients to bring their projects to life through use of our materials.
The Account Manger will be instrumental in building new and servicing existing relationships across Adelaide. The role includes growing new industry partnerships and working closely with a Business Development Manager in the servicing of existing relationships, splitting time between client service and business development from showroom leads.
Key Responsibilities
* Gathering information on prospective clients (e.g., company size, needs and opportunities to add value)
* Working in tandem with your Business Development rep to understand client requirements and provide solutions
* Providing after‐sales support to retain customers
* Prompt and accurate answers to clients' queries
* Building strong client relationships through regular communication
* Working with your Business Development rep to create customised sales plans for key clients
* Promoting new products/services to existing customers
Requirements
* Proven experience in a relevant sales role
* Ability to confidently manage client relationships and day‐to‐day enquiries
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships
* Good attention to detail in handling business development leads and managing projects from lead to delivery
* Interest in architecture and design
* Ambition to grow and develop existing client relationships through exceptional service and product counsel
* Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver an excellent customer experience
Full‐time role based onsite 5 days per week at our Kent Town showroom, including a rotating Saturday roster. Candidates must have full permanent working rights in Australia.
