Customer Service Officer – Estimating/Expediting

About the Role

Reporting to the State Manager – NSW/ACT, the Customer Service Officer – Estimating/Expediting will drive customer satisfaction and support sales by managing orders, monitoring deliveries, maintaining the CRM, and collaborating with stakeholders. You will also assist with marketing initiatives to support Business Development Managers.

Key Accountabilities

- Handle customer enquiries and liaise with sales on pricing and products
- Enter and manage sales orders received via email or phone
- Monitor delivery schedules, backorders, and communicate with stakeholders
- Provide customer service support to the sales team
- Offer product and system solutions
- Maintain CRM data including quotes, opportunities, and project updates
- Create collateral for BDM presentations
- Uphold quality and environmental policies (QMS/EMS) in all tasks
- Perform additional duties as required

About You

- Strong communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills
- Positive, customer‑focused approach with proven service experience
- Collaborative team player with a drive to support business success
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Quick learner with a commitment to developing product knowledge
- Skilled in preparing quotes and managing orders
- Proficient in CRM systems and maintaining accurate records
- Excellent phone and interpersonal skills
- Electrical or construction industry experience (preferred, not essential)
