The Opportunity: Auto Electrician
We’re seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team immediately. This role is hands-on and offers exposure to a wide range of projects, ensuring no two days are the same. After a 3-month trial period, successful candidates will transition into full-time employment.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
- Install, service, and maintain electrical systems including lighting, control panels, sensors, and communication systems.
- Perform fault finding on alternators, starters, wiring harnesses, battery systems, and more.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
- Maintain accurate records and job documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
- Current manual driver’s licence
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across a variety of electrical systems
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Initiative, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
