Job Description
The Social Media Manager plays a key role in planning, overseeing and executing both paid and organic social media, as well as customer service management.
This position requires high energy, strong communications skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to and implement social media strategy.
* Develop and manage content calendar across channels.
* Generate, edit, publish, amplify and optimise content to drive engagement.
* Development of campaign plans and reports.
* Development of social media dashboard and metrics.
* Collaborate with internal teams to drive campaign effectiveness.
* Deliver agreed KPIs including reach, engagement and conversion metrics.
* Manage and optimise customer response model for customer service delivery and platform moderation.
* Develop and implement plan to identify and respond to social media crises.
* Review, recommend and implement new tools as required.
* Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media.
* Seek out training opportunities for tools and new technologies.
* Coach and manage development for team members.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Communications or Marketing desirable.
* At least 3 years of experience in social media management.
* Previous experience in retail considered an advantage.
* Proven ability to coach and mentor team members.
* Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design programs an advantage.
* Experience in photography and developing video content an advantage.
* Understanding of digital marketing channels and how they relate to social media.
* Understanding of consumer trends and audience behavior in social media.
