ADD VALUE - THE ROLE
The Manager Infrastructure Services is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing a multidisciplinary business unit that delivers critical infrastructure and community services to the Singleton community. This includes leadership of teams across Civil Operations, Capital Works, Engineering Services, Assets, Recreation and Facilities, and Emergency Management.
As a key member of Singleton Council’s Leadership Team, the role contributes to the strategic direction and operational performance of the organisation, aligning initiatives with the Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Program and Operational Plan. The Manager drives a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence, while ensuring compliance with legislative, financial and risk management standards.
This position also serves as the Council’s designated Local Emergency Management Officer (LEMO), leading all aspects of emergency planning, preparedness, response, and recovery.
With a strong emphasis on collaboration, leadership, and innovation, the Manager Infrastructure Services champions change and supports a workplace culture that reflects Council’s values of accountability, care, adaptability, connection, and integrity.
This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis working 35 hours per week.
The total remuneration package for this position is $234,000 per annum inclusive of a generous vehicle allowance, civil liability allowance, Local Emergency Management Officer (LEMO) allowance and superannuation.
