We are looking for an experienced Retirement Planning Financial Adviser to join our team to work with our 4,000+ existing client base and to lead the development of our Retirement Planning offering. Your role will involve providing comprehensive retirement strategies for our long-term clients that are planning for, or entering into, the retirement phase. Many of these clients will have Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF), so a good understanding of SMSF is desirable.
You will be a specialist in transition to retirement (TTR) and account-based pensions, the aged pension, and much more.
We are in an expansion phase, so there is potential to make the role your own and have a direct influence on the future growth and design of the advice department. Most of our staff have been with us long-term and built their careers through similar opportunities. We are part of a broad-based wealth management business, so you will be working closely with our accountants, solicitors, investment managers, finance, and client services teams.
Excellent salary package offered for the right candidate, up to $200,000.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide advice to existing client base as required
2. Work with our paraplanners, accountants, and investment team to implement strategies
3. Work closely with CEO on growth of advice business
4. Comply with all industry rules and regulations
5. Maintain compliant files and company processes for file noting and using CRM
Experience in:
1. 2 years plus experience in Retirement Advice
2. Specialist in TTR and account-based pensions
3. Centrelink and the aged pension
4. Managed Discretionary Accounts
5. Experience with XPlan
6. Knowledge of platforms such as Hub24, IOOF Expand, and AMP MyNorth
7. Strong CRM skills such as Salesforce
