**The role**:
- Coordinates the build, documentation, and implementation of technical solutions with best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks
- Build, release, and manage the configuration of all production systems on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Support the development, publication, implementation and compliance of project deliverables and related standards and procedures at an enterprise level
- Undertake the assessment, analysis, development, documentation, and implementation planning of complex IM/ICT changes, including the evaluation of risks to the integrity of specific components in proposed implementations
- Provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, preferably in the ITIL framework
- Actively participate in a team of specialist technical resources in the delivery of complex technical solutions.

**Your experience should include expertise in**:
- Proven ability to participate in a highly skilled technical team providing high-level technical direction, standardisation, and support of enterprise infrastructure in a large customer focused organisation.
- You will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of the AWS cloud infrastructure
- Container technology, AWS ECS, Dockers architecture
- Provision Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, Ansible to automate the provisioning of AWS resources
- VPC, Route53, AWS Batch, Lambda, Auto-Scaling, EC2, Security Group, SNS, Git, Cloud Watch, Guard Duty & SQS
- Working knowledge on highly available AWS solutions that use load balancing, horizontal scaling, and high availability
- Windows and Linux operating systems
- Understanding of Nextflow workflow tool in cloud environment
- Ability to work individually and within a high-performance team with time critical tasks and complex deliverables
- Excellent communication, liaison and negotiation skills and a proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of clients and stakeholders
**Specific Working Conditions**:
- Participation in on-call arrangements may be required for this position. Appropriate remuneration under the Award will apply.
- Whilst not mandatory, the following qualifications and experience would be highly regarded:
- Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD) experience with a variety of deployment automation and configuration management tools within the AWS stack.
- Experience with source control technologies such as Git.
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate.
- Experience Linux administration skills within an enterprise cloud-based environment.
- Knowledge of Queensland Health / Queensland Government Architectural standards.
