Technical Content Designer - Self-Help Experience

The Role
As a Content Designer focused on self-help experiences, you will create and optimise digital content that empowers customers to find answers quickly and independently.
Working closely with Product, UX, Customer Success, and Data teams, you will design clear, intuitive, and engaging support content across multiple digital channels-help centres, in-product messaging, and automated support tools.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys simplifying complex information and using data to continuously improve content performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver high-quality self-help content (how-to guides, FAQs, workflows, in-product copy)
* Audit and optimise existing content for clarity, usability, and discoverability
* Use customer insights and analytics to identify friction points and improve content effectiveness
* Collaborate cross-functionally to align content with product updates and customer journeys
* Contribute to content systems including templates, taxonomy, and metadata
* Support experimentation and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
* 2-3+ years' experience in content design, UX writing, or technical writing
* Strong ability to translate complex information into clear, user-friendly content
* Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments (ideally SaaS or tech)
* Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Zendesk, Salesforce)
* Understanding of SEO and structured content principles
* Data-driven mindset with the ability to use insights to inform decisions
* Strong attention to detail and consistency in tone and voice
Nice to Have
* Exposure to global or multi-market content environments
* Basic HTML/CSS or web content formatting skills
* Experience with experimentation or A/B testing
* Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design
